Due anni fa mi è successa una delle mie solite storie dirompenti;
L’impatto emozionale è stato tale da farmi fare anche scelte azzardate (ma non le rinnego) che ho trasferito in musica come è già accaduto in passato.
Niente strumentazione professionale, niente sequencer, il PC mi è servito solo per registrare come si faceva 20 anni fa con i registratori multitraccia a bobina.
Il tutto è suonato in diretta, traccia su traccia, a parte la batteria che realizzo con un semplicissimo pattern ripetuto all’infinito.
Il Basso è suonato con la tastiera e poi… la chitarra: una marea di tracce!
Non è facile con una Yamaha superstorta dove non suona il MI cantino da mezza tastiera in giù!!!
Ma non mi interessava la perfezione, volevo solo fare presto, trasformando in note l’emozione provata.
Queste sono le ultime ma ve ne sono altre senza batteria, solo il Piano Roland, un’expander yamaha da 80 euro e un microfono senza nome… Kennet (?)… che non ha manco l’attacco XLR dove il rumore di fondo si sente eccome!
Ma non ne avevo di “finezze”.
Sono un po’ malinconiche queste canzoni ma in Acid c’è tutta la mia felicità.
